Peach Praline Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 c. sliced fresh or frozen peaches, thawed
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; let stand for 15 minutes.

    Combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

    Stir in pecans.

    Sprinkle 1/3 of flour mixture in bottom of pastry shell. Spoon in peaches and top with remaining flour mixture.

    Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 350° and bake an additional 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
