Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. scalded milk; 2 c. bread crumbs; 2 Tbsp. melted butter; 2 eggs; 1/4 c. honey; 1/2 c. sugar; 1/4 tsp. vanilla; 1/8 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. lemon extract; 2 c. diced peaches

1 1/2 c. scalded milk
2 c. bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
2 c. diced peaches

Directions

Pour 1 1/2 cups scalded milk over 2 cups bread crumbs in an 8 x 8-inch greased baking dish.

Let stand for 10 minutes.

In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons melted butter into 2 beaten eggs.

Add 1/4 cup honey, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, salt and lemon extract.

Dice peaches and spread over bread crumbs in baking dish.

Pour mix over peaches.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

Serve warm alone or with milk or with whipped cream or ice cream.
