- 1 lb. beef stew meat
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 carrots
- 4 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, do not drain
Directions

1Brown meat on all sides; strain meat fat.

2In saucepan, stir together tomato sauce, water and salt.

3Add stew meat.

4Bring to a boil; place lid on pan.

5Simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

6Add vegetables; cover and cook 30 minutes more.

7Add peaches and liquid to stew.

8Cover and cook 10 minutes more.

9Makes 6 servings.
