  • 2 c. sliced peaches (29 oz. can)
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. margarine, melted

Directions

    Arrange drained peaches in 10-ounce square pan.

    Pour on lemon juice.

    Spread brown sugar over peaches.

    Sprinkle on cinnamon. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Add milk and beat until smooth (will be thin).

    Pour over peaches.

    Drizzle margarine over batter.

    Bake at 350° about 30 to 35 minutes.
