  • 1 c. soft butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 heaping tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. peaches, chopped small

    Cream butter, sugar and eggs (adding egg one at a time and beating well after each egg).

    Add vanilla, almond extract, flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.

    Add sour cream.

    Fold peaches into batter.

    Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 75 to 85 minutes.
