  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 48 chocolate candy kisses

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

    Shape dough into balls, using rounded teaspoonful for each.
  3. 3
    Roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Upon removing cookies from oven, immediately top each with a candy kiss.

    Press down so cookie cracks around edge.
