- 3 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. or more small Spanish peanuts (raw)
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Boil sugar, Karo syrup and water together until it spins a thread (232° on candy thermometer).

2Add peanuts; stir continuously.

3Cook until it turns brownish gold (300°).

4Take off heat; add butter, salt and soda.

5Stir well.
-
6Pour onto greased pans or plates to cool.

7When cool, crack and store in airtight containers.
