  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 4 c. peanuts
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Blend sugar, corn syrup, water and butter.

    Cook to 230° on candy thermometer.

    Add peanuts and cook to 280°.
  4. 4
    Stir occasionally and continue cooking to 305°.
  5. 5
    Remove from heat and add soda.
  6. 6
    Stir quickly until hard and break into pieces.
