- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix sugar, Karo, water and peanuts together in a heavy skillet.

2Cook until golden brown and until the peanuts begin to pop, approximately 30 minutes.

3Remove from fire and add the vanilla.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Add soda and stir vigorously.

6Pour onto a well-greased sheet pan.

7Spread as thin as possible.

8When cold, break into pieces.
