  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 2 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan (large).

    Cook to 130° on candy thermometer.

    Add raw peanuts and cook to 300°, stirring constantly.

    Add soda and salt.

    Beat a few minutes and pour in buttered pie pans (about 6 pans.)
