- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. Spanish peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In heavy saucepan add sugar, syrup and water.

2Cook slowly to soft ball stage (275°).

3Then add peanuts and salt.

4Cook to hard crack stage (300°).

5Remove from heat and add margarine and baking soda.

6Beat well and pour onto a well-buttered cookie sheet. Break into pieces.
