  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
  • 3 oz. butter
  • 1 lb. raw peanuts
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Cook sugar, corn syrup and butter to 240°.

    Add raw peanuts. Cook to 290°.

    Add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda and remove from heat.

    Pour mixture onto buttered marble slab or buttered cookie sheet.

    Cool and break into pieces.
