- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. peanuts (raw)
- 1 Tbsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine corn syrup, sugar, water and margarine in 2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

3Cook, without stirring, to thread stage.

4Stir in peanuts and cook until golden brown.

5Remove from heat.

6Add soda and salt; blend quickly, but thoroughly.

7Turn onto heavy greased baking sheet.

8Let cool and break into pieces.
