- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. light Karo
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. raw peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water in large saucepan or Dutch oven.

2Cook over low heat until 230° to 234° on candy thermometer. Add peanuts.

3Stir constantly until thermometer reaches 290°. Remove from heat.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Mix well.

6Spread onto buttered pan; cool.

7Break into pieces.
