- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. peanuts (Spanish)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup and water to hard ball stage.

2Add nuts and butter.

3Cook until golden brown, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat; add vanilla and stir.

5Add soda.

6Stir and pour quickly onto a 10 x 15-inch (at least) cookie sheet which has been buttered.
