- 3 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put first 3 ingredients in heavy pan and boil 3 minutes, covered.

2Uncover and boil until hard crackle in cold water.

3Add 2 tablespoons oleo.

4Add 2 cups raw peanuts; cook until syrup is golden brown.

5(It takes approximately 7 1/2 minutes after putting peanuts in.)

6Remove from heat.

7Add 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda. Stir well.

8Pour into a well-greased pan (large pan).

9Cool and break into pieces.
