- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 c. peanuts
Directions

1Mix together sugar and syrup.

2Cook until it starts to boil. Stir together soda, vanilla and water; set aside.

3Cook sugar and syrup to 300° by candy thermometer.

4While this is boiling, grease 2 jelly roll pans.

5Put in oven to warm lightly.

6Also put the peanuts in oven to warm.

7When candy has reached 300°, remove from stove.

8Add vanilla, soda and water.
-
9Stir very fast.

10Stir in nuts.

11Take pans from oven and put on racks.

12Spread candy on 2 pans.

13When cold, break into eatable pieces.
