- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 lb. raw peanuts
- 2 sticks oleo
Directions

1Melt sugar, syrup and water to light syrupy stage and add oleo.

2As soon as oleo is bubbling good, add peanuts.

3When mixture reaches hard crack stage (305°), remove from heat and add soda.

4Stir thoroughly.

5Pour into 2 pizza pans or 2 large cookie sheets that have been sprayed with Pam.

6Level off candy with spoon to thickness of peanuts.

7Set where it is cool.

8(We use electric frypan set at 340° for cooking.)
