  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook water, sugar and corn syrup until it spins a thread (230° to 234°).

    Add peanuts and cook until they begin to pop (hard crack stage 300° to 310°).

    Add soda, butter and salt.

    Pour onto a large greased cookie sheet.

    Cool and break into pieces.
