- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 stick butter (margarine)
- 1-inch paraffin canning wax
- 2 c. Spanish peanuts
- pinch of salt (optional)
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and paraffin; bring to a boil.

2Add peanuts and cook on medium heat until golden brown (or approximately 20 minutes). Stir well.

3Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon soda.

4Stir well and spread on aluminum foil while foaming.

5Let cool thoroughly.

6Break up and store in airtight container.
