- 1 cup sugar
- 1 12 cups white corn syrup
- 1 cup dry roasted salted peanut
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions

1In 1-1/2 quart casserole stir together sugar and syrup.

2Microwave at high 4 minutes.

3Stir in peanuts.

4Microwave at high 3-5 minutes, until light brown.

5Add butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well.

6Microwave at high 1-2 minutes more.

7Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot.

8Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy.

9Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

10Let cool 1/2 to 1 hour.

11When cool, break into small peices and store in air-tight container.
