Peanut Butter Bread

- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 2/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
Directions

1Into large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

2Stir in brown sugar until well blended.

3With pastry blender, cut in peanut butter and butter until coarse crumbs form. In small bowl, mix milk, vanilla and egg until well blended.

4Add milk mixture to flour/peanut butter mixture; stir just until moistened.

5Pour batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake in 375° oven for 1 hour.

6Cover loosely with sheet of foil. Bake 15 minutes more or until loaf is golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

7Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove and cool on rack.

8Makes 1 loaf.
