Peanut Butter Corn Chips

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) corn chips (like Fritos)
  • 1/2 cup cashews

Directions

    Butter a cookie sheet.

    Put corn chips (and nuts, if using) into a heat-proof bowl.

    Combine sugar and corn syrup in saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Boil for a minute, until sugar dissolves, add peanut butter and stir until melted and incorporated with sugar/syrup.

    Pour while hot, over chips and toss coating all chips.

    Form into small balls or clumps and place on cookie sheet.

    When cool, store in covered container.
