Peanut Candy Bars

- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1/2 c. creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped salted peanuts
Directions

1In medium saucepan, bring sugar and corn syrup to boiling. Boil, stirring frequently, for exactly 1 minute.

2Remove from heat. Blend in peanut butter and vanilla.

3Stir in peanuts.

4Then spread in a greased 15 x 10-inch sheet pan.

5Let stand until cool enough to handle.

6Mark off in 24 bars, about 3 inches in length, then with hands, shape into candy bars.

7Set on waxed paper.

8When all bars are shaped, wrap individually in waxed paper.

9Store in a cool place.
