- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. oats
- 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
Directions

1In large saucepan, heat sugar, butter and milk to boiling, stirring constantly.

2Cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

3Mix in peanut butter and vanilla.

4Stir in oats and nuts.

5Drop by tablespoon onto waxed paper.

6If mixture becomes too stiff, stir in 1 or 2 drops milk.

7Let stand until firm.

8Makes about 2 1/2 dozen candies.
