  • 3/4 c. soft shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. salted peanuts, chopped

Directions

    Cream shortening with peanut butter and salt until light and fluffy, gradually adding confectioners sugar.

    Blend in vanilla, then flour.

    Stir in peanuts; mix well.

    Shape dough into small balls.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake in a 375° oven 12 minutes or until golden brown.
