- 1 stick margarine, creamed
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. pear preserves, drained
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. maraschino cherries
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.

2Add eggs, pears, cherries and nuts.

3Sift together 3 times the cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.

4Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk to which soda has been added.

5Pour in well-greased Bundt or angel food pan.

6Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
