  • 1 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. chopped pears
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Combine oil, sugar and eggs; beat well.

    Add flour and cinnamon to creamed mixture.

    (Sift flour and cinnamon together 3 times first.)

    Add vanilla.

    Fold in pears and nuts.

    Bake in tube pan in 325° oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
