- 9 pears
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 can crushed pineapple (202 can)
- rind of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. powdered ginger
Directions

1Chop pears fine or put through grinder.

2There should be 5 cups.

3Put in large pot.

4Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.

5Cook over low heat 35 to 40 minutes, stirring constantly. Fruit should be clear and liquid thick.

6Pour into sterilized jars and seal by processing in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Makes 6 pints.
