- 6 lb. pears, peeled and sliced into wedges
- 5 c. vinegar
- 10 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spices
Directions

1In large pot on low heat, cook vinegar and sugar.

2Add pickling spices.

3Be sure to stir so sugar won't stick to the pan. After sugar dissolves, you may turn heat up so it will begin boiling.

4After it starts boiling, reduce heat.

5Cook at least 2 or 2 1/2 hours real slow.

6Put in jars and seal.

7(Do not overcook.)
