  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 qt. pears sliced

Directions

    Mix sugar, water and syrup in a large pot.

    Bring to a boil. Add pears and cook until pears are tender and syrup is thick.

    Do not cover.

    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  5. 5
    Make 3 - 3 1/2 pints.
