  • 3 cups water or stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Place barley, stock and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for approx 45 minutesor until barley is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
