- 3 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 c. light cream
- 2 c. shelled fresh peas or 1 (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp; drain.

2Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.

3Blend in flour, stir in light cream.

4Add peas, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until peas are tender, 15 minutes for fresh peas.

5Add bacon, season to taste.
