- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. finely chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Stir in salt, extract, flour and pecans.

3Mix well.

4Chill several hours.

5Shape dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake in moderate oven at 300° to 325° for 12 to 15 minutes.

7While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.

8When completely cooled, roll in confectioners sugar again.

9Makes 5 dozen.
