8BEAT cream cheese, butter; granulated sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Cover.

10PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Press dough firmly onto bottom

13MEANWHILE, combine 2 eggs, I cup firmly packed brown sugar,

143 cup light corn syrup, 1/4 cup melted butter and I tsp, vanilla

15util well blended. Stir in 3 cups chopped pecans.

16SPREAD evenly onto warm crust. Bake an additional 20 to 25 min. or until topping is firm around the edges and slightly soft in the centre. Cool completely. Cut into 60bars.
