- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white cane syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 c. pecans
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water.

2Bring to boil, then add pecans (broken or halved).

3Cook slowly until the syrup is brown. Remove from heat and add the other 3 ingredients.

4Pour as thinly as possible onto a well-greased cookie sheet.

5Allow to cool and then break into small pieces.
