- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cook sugar and syrup in water until syrup spins a thread.

2Add nuts and cook until golden brown.

3Syrup will look like it's burning.

4Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

5Stir while it is bubbling.

6Pour onto greased aluminum foil.

7Spread thin.
