- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. candied cherries
- 1 lb. shelled pecans
Directions

1Chop the pecans.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

4In a large pan, mix all dry ingredients, fruit and nuts, then add gradually to batter.

5Put in pan with buttered paper in the bottom and pack well.

6Bake at 250° for 3 hours or more.
