- 1 lb. butter (1/2 margarine, 1/2 butter)
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1/2 lb. cherries
- 1 lb. shelled pecans
- 1/2 lb. pineapple
- 4 c. plain flour, sifted
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/4 oz. or 2 1/2 Tbsp. pure lemon extract
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add egg yolks, one at a time.

3Beat well after each.

4Add 2 cups of flour with baking powder.

5Add all extract.

6Use 2 cups of flour to dredge fruit and nuts.

7Fold into creamed mixture.

8Beat egg whites stiff and fold into batter.

9Let stand overnight.
