- 1 lb. New York sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 to 2 tsp. cayenne
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- pecan halves
Directions

1Cream margarine; add grated cheese.

2Mix in flour, salt, cayenne and pecan halves.

3Roll in balls.

4Press pecan half on each.

5Refrigerate overnight.

6Bake at 250° for 1 hour.

7Turn off oven and let stay in oven another 30 minutes.

8Makes 10 to 12 dozen.
