Pecan Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 rounded tsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • whipping cream (optional)

Directions

    Mix together dry ingredients and add to melted butter.

    Mix with a fork.

    Add eggs, milk and vanilla.

    Whip with a fork.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Sprinkle pecans over top. Bake about 45 minutes in a 325° oven.

    Allow to cool.

    Top with whipped cream.
