  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. soda
  • 2 2/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 2/3 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    In a large heavy pot, add all the ingredients.

    Cook to a hard boil stage (260°) on top of stove.
  3. 3
    Quickly add pecans and beat one minute.
  4. 4
    Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet 2/3 full.

    Let cool and cut into bite size pieces.
