Pecan Cookie Bars

Directions

   Mix cake mix (save 2/3 cup), margarine and 1 egg until moist. Press flat into 13 x 9-inch pan.

   Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350° until lightly browned.

   Mix sugar, remaining eggs and vanilla together.

   Add corn syrup and 2/3 cup dry cake mix.

   Lightly stir in pecans.

   Pour this filling over browned crust.

   Return to oven. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.

   Let cool and cut into bars.
