- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 lb pecans
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Directions

1Put the pecans in a blender or food processor to get them down to a crumbly not-so fine powder-like consistency.

2Cream together the 2 cups of butter with the sugar and vanilla.

3Sift together flour and salt.

4Add to butter mixture.

5Mix well.

6Add the nuts.

7Mix to combine.

8Roll into balls and bake fot 15-20 minutes.

9Roll in the remaining sugar while still warm.
