- 1 lb. butter (may use half margarine)
- 2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Sprinkle buttered 10 x 15-inch pan with 1 cup nuts and half the chocolate chips.

2In heavy saucepan, melt butter and sugar. Using a candy thermometer, heat mixture to 300°.

3(This takes approximately 15 minutes.)

4Pour this over mixture in pan. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and let set until chocolate is soft. Spread evenly over candy and top with remaining pecans.

5Serves 24.
