- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. soft margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sifted 10x sugar
- 2 Tbsp. light cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Sift flour with salt; set aside.

3In large bowl, beat margarine, shortening, sugar, cream and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.

4Stir in flour mixture until well combined.

5Stir in nuts.

6Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2-inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes or just until light golden brown.

8Remove to wire rack; cool.
