Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. ground pecans
  • 1 c. ground raw potatoes
  • 1 c. ground raw carrots
  • 1/2 c. ground raw onions
  • 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sage

    Use a fine blade of the grinder for the first four ingredients.

    Mix all ingredients.

    Pack into a greased pan (7 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 2 1/4-inch).

    Cover with a foil and bake in a preheated 350° oven about 45 minutes.

    Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer.

    Slice and serve hot with a mushroom sauce.
