- 2 cups - flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
- Butter for greasing skillet (optional)
- Melted butter and maple syrup for serving
Directions

1Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together in a bowl.

2In another bowl, beat eggs and milk together, pour over the flour mixture, and stir until blended.

3Fold in the pecans.

4Heat regular or nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.

5Grease it with butter, if needed.

6Drop large spoonfuls (about 1/3 cup) of batter into skillet or onto griddle.

7Use back of spoon to spread it a little.

8Cook each pancake for 1 or 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown, and then remove from pan.

9Repeat with remaining batter, and then serve with butter and syrup.
