- 3 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Put in saucepan the brown sugar, sour cream and corn syrup. Cook to soft ball stage (234°).

2Add the butter and vanilla.

3Let stand without stirring until candy cools to 112°.

4Add the pecans and stir until stiff enough to drop by teaspoonfuls on wax paper. Let stand a few hours before removing from paper.

5Store in layers with wax paper between.

6Makes about 2 pounds.
