- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. Karo syrup (red or white)
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Add Karo and sugar to beaten eggs and beat well.

2Add other ingredients.

3Pour into unbaked pie shell.

4Arrange design of pecan halves on top if desired.

5Bake in 350° oven until it begins to brown.

6Turn oven to 300° and finish baking until filling is set, about 45 minutes.

7(If it browns too fast, it will be too hard on top.)
